One of the best delis in town, Village Heros will make you any sandwich you can think of! You better be hungry because their sandwiches are so large it's sometimes hard to finish. The inside seating can use a little work but more then you'll find at any other deli in the area. While there don't forget to try the lemonade 😁.

This place IMO is the best hero shop in LI. Fresh bread, they pack the meat and a full hero is the size of a full keyboard. Easy 2 days of lunch. Daily specials! Quick service.

Village hero is a hidden gem for the most satisfying breakfast and lunch with a cafeteria style service. Very friendly staff and amazingly huge servings of food. You better be very hungry when you visit them.

We were big fans of Wild Willys in Bethpage but unfortunately they closed down. Willys was a spin-off of Village Heros, so we decided to try them, and we were not disappointed. Everything is made fresh. The sandwiches are huge and there's a wide selection to choose from, as well as salads and their giant brownies to finish it all off.

Sandwiches are generously sized and priced to Long Island level. Nothing to complain about.

Huge sandwiches! I got a large because I was hungry, but I could only tackle half of it. I found it to be very tasty, with a good balance of ingredients to bread. Overall, excellent.

I found out about village heros on google while i was visiting syosset. The sandwiches are amazing. I go there at least once a week from queens to eat there. Prices are good and the sandwiches are better

Great large heroes here!!!! Best sandwiches in town! Right next to Ralph's Ices so you can get a sandwich and go next door and grab an ice. I don't really eat the cold sandwiches but love their hot sandwiches!

I heard about this place and stopped in when I was in the area. It's a true sandwitch shop and they had a great selection. Everything on my hero was fresh, well made and tasted great! I will be going back to try out more of what they offer.

The sandwiches here are absolutely insane! And I don't mean wacky insane, I mean they are huge! Like, the "small" meatball parm has 4 FULL SIZE meatballs in it! Not cut in half, not sliced... Full round meatballs! All of the other sandwiches are also overloaded and massive as well! You definitely get more than what you pay for here.

Love this deli, must recommend the chicken sandwiches if this is your first time! Also, the large is two meals so stick with a small!

Great place! The best hero sandwiches anywhere, seriously. They have a good sized dining area and a friendly staff. Very quick turn around for lunch.

Be sure you tried your coffee before to leave, it's a busy place with great food and prices, but as the rush comes they cannot be accurate all the time with your taste, they forgot to put sugar on my coffee, salt and pepper missing on my hero. Be better and I will come back... Definitely!

A place to get excellent, overstuffed heroes for lunch, a hungry man special for breakfast or a baked ziti dinner. All the usual suspects in the hero department plus a few local specials with personality. Closed on Sundays!

Don't come here expecting fancy sandwiches. Come here for a great big ol' sandwich stuffed with quality tasty meats and cheeses like it should be. They make a great chicken cutlet hero with bacon and melted mozzarella that can't be beat. Just a half size sandwich will leave you stuffed.

If you want a BIG, made to order sandwich, this is the place to go! Their large sandwiches are enough for lunch and second lunch. They have bacon and egg heroes all day if you're a breakfast all day person like me and hot or cold sandwiches, made to order or their own specialty heroes. Anything I've ordered was made fresh and hot! Their Big Willy sandwiches are great and probably the most popular among our friends. Cant go wrong here!

I have been a customer of Village Heroes for 47 years. I have never once been disappointed! I find this place to be THE BEST place for heroes as well as many other selections! As long as I live on Long Island I will continue to be one of their loyal customers!

I have been coming to Village Hero for years now. It is definitely a hidden gem that people probably drive by hundreds of times with out realize what they’re missing.They have amazing sandwiches that are incredibly filling and affordable. They have some of the best chicken cutlets I’ve ever had.My go to is the G.W. Bush with a large Arnold Palmer.If I still happen to be hungry after, Ralph’s ices is right next door.

Their italian sandwiches are stuffed to the max with delicious meats (not too salty) and fresh toppings. Every time I go, there’s not too long of a wait, plenty of drink and side options, and a friendly staff. Also, their prices are amazing!! I love this place!

The food here is absolutely first-rate.

This place is good for quick lunch break. Food serve is super fast. And not to expensive. And the except for one girl others don't know how to smile and greet. But food quality is ok not bad. And to me bacon always over burn. Also I have to mention about the rest rooms they are not clean and the entire place very old and not clean. But I love the cozy environment here it's good to hangout with office colleges.

This place has stood the test of time. 25 years eating here and the quality has been consistent. Good people and absolutely delicious food. Highly recommended.

I always passed this place heading into work, but finally stopped in and I'm glad I did.Huge portions and all quality meats & cheeses etc... Never had a bad meal and good people serving as well... My go to deli on the north shore in Nassau!!!
